What’s next

I usually share cool ideas here, but I have some personal news.

After 11 years, today is my last day at Bernard Health. On Monday, I’m joining The Nashton Company.

Just a few words on this…

For over a decade, I channeled all my professional energy toward building Bernard, and I did that alongside some of my favorite people.

What a privilege.

We built cool stuff together. Tech and services and culture. I lost count of how many times I dressed up as our mascot, Bernie.

It was hard and fun.

I'm grateful for so many professional relationships grounded in trust and mutual respect. And I'm proud of our team. Bernardians are good people, and I know they’ll continue to do great things.

My bar for leaving was really high.

I’ve long admired the team at The Nashton Company, a holding company that buys great businesses to grow them the right way over the long term. Along with my partners at Nashton, we're buying a business together, and I’ll step in to lead it as CEO.

As hard as it is to leave Bernard, I’m confident this is the right next step. More on that later.
