Nothing in nature blooms all year

When we’re at our best, we’re confident. Strategic. Productive. We prioritize our most important tasks and relationships. And our calendar aligns with our values and mission.

But we’re not always at our best.

No one is.

If we’re comparing our insides to others’ outsides, it can feel like our peers are blooming all the time.

But they’re not.

They have bad days. Bad weeks. Even bad months.

When we remember others are struggling with the same challenges we face. Harder challenges too. It becomes a whole lot easier to extend compassion and grace.

We can be patient with ourselves. And others.

Nothing in nature blooms all year.
