Bad guys don’t use iPhones

Product placement in Hollywood movies is about as American as it gets. And when brands pay for placement, they want to look good. And boost sales. That’s the point.

But some think different.

In addition to looking good and boosting sales, some brands use product placement to tell us a story.

For example, Apple places lots of iPhones in movies, but they won’t let villains use them.

Bad guys can’t have iPhones on camera.

The next time you see a questionable character using an iPhone in a movie, you’ll know it’s really a good guy.
